Books by Alan

Here you’ll find all my books. Scroll down and click on any cover for more info. If you’d like advance notice of new releases and even pre-release copies (as well as loads of other bonus stuff), become a Patron. If you’re after audiobooks, not everything of mine is on audio yet, but everything at Audible is here.

If you’re after a SIGNED PAPERBACK, click on any cover below, then the orange button.

And should you be in the market for Alan Baxter merch, there’s a Teepublic store here with a bunch of options. If you’ve seen the imprint 13th Dragon Books and wonder what that is, here’s an explainer.

If you want to try my stuff for free, you can get the ePub of Shadow Bites by clicking here. This is a sampler including a novella, three complete short stories, and sample chapters from six of my novels. There’s also a Free Stories page where you can find links to some stuff published online.

NB: Most of my fiction is horror, dark fantasy, and crime, or adjacent to those genres. By its nature, it contains confronting themes. If you have concerns about content, there’s a page here that is an attempt to offer some content warnings. The page is certainly not exhaustive, and I apologise for anything I might have missed. And in case you need it, I made a special page that’s A Glossary of Aussie Slang.
There’s a couple of random items below, followed by all my books. Scroll on!

Book plates. I’m well aware that signed copies of books are desirable, especially as gifts (for yourself or a loved one), but postage from Australia to anywhere else in the world can be prohibitive. Book plates are an option. Basically a sticker with my logo that I’ll sign and write any dedication you’d like, then post to you for very cheap. You can buy a copy of the book in your own country and then stick the book plate in. The next best thing to an actually signed book. To order one or more, click here.
